It has been quite some time since I have visited this blogging site. I am no longer in the classroom, my role now is the Career Development Coordinator and Special Populations Coordinator. I have found a wonderful Dr. who specializes in alternative medication and he discovered that my fibromyalgia was a symptom of the real problem which is adrenal fatigue. It has almost been one year since this diagnosis and I have made a 75% recovery; and my desk is still in disarray, not as bad as my classroom desk though. My Lesley journey will end in about 6 weeks and I am looking forward to the much needed break.
This last class includes blogging, so here I am reviving what has been lifeless for a while. I think this time I will blog about my new postion and look for ways to assist my students in summer opportunities since my concern is their preparation for their career and educational goals.
Sounds like a good way to use a blog.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing about health issues. I have fibromyalgia and know how debilitating it can be, I am glad they were able to help you. I was in a major car accident two years ago, and the trauma from that was a catalyst for myalgia. It has been a never-ending battle, but I remain hopeful.
